(Canada) “The combined effect of these shutdowns will result in a reduction in production of close to 6,000 tonnes of newsprint,” said Chris Black, senior vice president, newsprint division. “The continuing weak newsprint market, coupled with the recent strengthening of the Canadian dollar warrant these temporary curtailments.”
