A flexible, as in bendable, battery has been developed by researchers at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The prototype is only a few inches square, but it has potential. It uses paper; the paper is infused with electrolyte and embedded with carbon nanotubes. With the carbon fiber nanotubes acting as electrodes, the paper acts as a separator and the current flows through the electrolyte.
