(Chile) Copec, Chile's largest wood pulp producer, made a profit in the January-June period of 268.8 billion pesos ($510 million), compared with 217.7 billion in the same period a year earlier. "The increase (in operating profit) over last year is due mainly to greater sales volumes and better prices for forestry products," the company said in a statement.
