(India) Ballarpur Industries Limited (BILT), India’s largest manufacturer of Writing and Printing Paper was awarded the prestigious 8th Greentech Environment Excellence Awards, today at a ceremony held in Goa. The awards were presented by Shri. Digambar Kamat, Honorable Chief Minister of Goa at a glittering ceremony held at Cidade De Goa.
BILT bagged both the Awards in Paper Sector. “As a responsible corporate, BILT strongly believes in synergizing business interests with environmental accountability. It is indeed a great honor to be awarded the prestigious Greentech Environment Excellence Award in recognition of our efforts, towards reducing pollution and protecting the environment. These awards have given impetus to our efforts towards environmental conservation and pollution control,” said Mr. R. R. Vederah, MD, BILT.
