GREAT BARRINGTON, USA -—June 04, 2008-- Hazen Paper Co. of Holyoke has signed a formal contract to buy the former Fox River Paper Co. mill in Housatonic, a deal that could bring good news to a regional paper industry that has suffered nothing but losses in the past year.
Hazen Paper expects to create up to 60 new jobs over the next several years as it expands its existing operations.
