MIAMISBURG, Ohio., USA –-June 6, 2008-– NewPage Corporation has announced new product brand names manufactured by its Specialty Papers business area for beverage label and release liner base papers. These changes are required by NewPage's agreements with Stora Enso Oyj.
The new beverage label and release liner product brands are now as follows:
* The water bottle label paper brand EcoSet is renamed EcoPoint™
* Full wet strength beer label paper UniSet is now DuraPoint™
* Partial wet strength beer label paper DanSet is renamed ProPoint™
* The metallizing label papers MetaSet and UniSet MSP have become ProPoint™ Medalist and DuraPoint™ Medalist, respectively
* The LumiSil family of multifunctional release liner base papers is now PointSil™
