(France)--March 25, 2009--Suppliers of woodfree uncoated paper in France found that ordering had "stabilised at a low level," as one producer put it. As a rule, demand seemed to have fallen sharply in the first quarter compared with the same period last year. The first figures for January and February pointed to substantial double-digit drops in overall demand.
