(USA) Karen Koehler can still remember her excitement when Oregon-based Pope & Talbot Co. purchased the pulp mill where her husband, Boyd, has worked for 32 years.
“Back in the day, it was a great company to work for,” she said. “There were Christmas parties and bonuses and profit sharing — everybody wanted to work for Pope & Talbot.”
