(Canada)--Dec 16, 2008--Danny Williams, Newfoundland and Labrador's premier -- no stranger to battles with big business -- took on AbitibiBowater Inc. Tuesday as the province passed legislation to expropriate hydroelectric, water and timber assets belonging to newsprint giant.
