Chilean forestry and paper company CMPC (CAR.SN: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Thursday its first-half profit more than doubled on rising prices for wood pulp and increased output from higher capacity.
The company said it had first half profit of 108.355 billion pesos ($205 million) compared with 46.183 billion pesos in the year-ago period.
