(USA)--Jan 09, 2009--A German paper company, Papierfabrik August Koehler AG, may buy and refurbish the closed NewPage Corp. paper mill in Kimberly, trade publication Forestweb Inc. reported this week based on information from the German trade publication Euwid Pulp and Paper.
Papierfabrik had planned to build a new mill before realizing that it could buy a shuttered U.S. mill to provide increased capacity for thermal paper, according to Euwid.
