LITTLE FALLS, NY, USA --Dec 04, 2010-— Burrows Paper Corporation has announced the expansion of its sales department and concurrently, the hiring of Steven E. Ford as Food Service Distribution Sales Manager.
Mr. Ford is a sales executive with almost two decades of experience in regional, national, and director-level sales management and distribution positions at food and industrial packaging companies in the United States and Canada. In his role at Burrows, he will be responsible for the development of existing and new food service distribution accounts in the company’s Packaging Group.
Most recently director of national sales distribution for Bagcraft-Papercon in Chicago, Mr. Ford also worked as national sales manager for Crescent Packaging-Darnel in Miami. For 16 years prior to that, he held positions of increasing responsibility for McNairn Packaging of Westfield, MA. He initially worked as a sales representative in various Canadian markets before becoming regional sales manager, then national sales manager responsible for the company’s Canadian field sales force. After that, Mr. Ford served as a national sales manager for the company’s Northeast/Mid-Atlantic United States regions before ascending to the position of director of sales for McNairn. In that capacity, he was responsible for leading, training, and coaching the company’s U.S. sales force, and for sales and revenue growth and strategic planning for market segments with leading national quick service, chain restaurant, convenience store, grocery, and food processing industry accounts.
His responsibilities at Burrows Paper will include managing the food service distribution sales team; managing manufacturer’s representative, distributor, and re-distributor relationships; and managing customer and sales growth in the food service distribution business segment.
